Hi!
There are times when two opposite thoughts fight in my head, and I can't logically figure out which one is right or what to do. This happens a lot. So I'm starting to write about it—maybe to find some pattern, maybe just to get it out of my head.
Here's an example:
The sad situation paradox I know logically that this current sadness will pass. In a few days, maybe a week, I'll be fine again. I've been through this cycle enough times to know that. But right now, in this moment, it feels crushing anyway. Both truths exist at the same time: "This will pass" and "This feels unbearable." Logic doesn't override emotion.
I don't have more examples yet. I'm just noticing these contradictions as they come up and trying to make sense of them. Maybe there's something useful in just acknowledging that two opposite things can both be true at the same time.
